Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

  Jesus didn't do it alone. He didn't carry out his ministry of healing, teaching and preaching without the help of dedicated followers. Choosing his disciples from common fishermen, Jesus shared his earthly journey with them. After Jesus' death and resurrection, they became the first leaders of the Church, continuing Jesus' ministry of care and compassion.

  Our 2009 Catholic Stewardship Appeal lifts up today's leaders of the Church in southeastern Wisconsin. Laypersons and clergy alike are modern-day disciples. In wise, faithful, creative ways, they are renewing Christ's people.
