About the Appeal
Calling on the power of prayer.
"Ask, and it will be given you," Jesus invites us to pray. In the same breath, he also urges us to be the answer to prayers: "In everything do to others as you would have them do to you." The 2010 Catholic Stewardship Appeal is built on this great commandment of Jesus'. It supports ministries and programs that answer prayers that reach out to our sisters and brothers with the love of Christ.
Over the years, the Appeal has come to understand where the most pressing needs are. The Appeal spreads out your gift in those areas to create the most impact. Through your contribution you serve families, strengthen parishes, advance education and formation, feed the hungry and bring others to Christ. Every dollar contributed to the Appeal remains right here in our ten-county Archdiocese of Milwaukee assisting more than 680,000 Catholics and 210 parishes.
