Campanile Society
A leadership giving society of the Catholic Stewardship Appeal.
Established in 1991, the Society continues to grow each year and now numbers more than 1,500 parishioners from across the ten-county archdiocese. These donors choose to keep the needs of the greater Church among their charitable giving priorities by contributing gifts of $1,000 or more annually to the Catholic Stewardship Appeal. Approximately 37%, or 2.9 million of all CSA revenue, comes from these generous donors. Society members share a common goal with all other donors to the Catholic Stewardship Appeal, that of helping to ensure the continuation of critical CSA-funded ministries.
The word Campanile derives from the Italian campanile, from campana, meaning bell. Throughout time, campanile bells have rung out around the world, and within the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, calling all Catholics to join together as one in Christ. The resounding bells also extend an invitation to join a society that is committed to furthering the Church's work and mission in southeastern Wisconsin.
As a member of the Campanile Society, you play a significant role in helping to meet the needs of the larger Church. More than 700,000 Catholics and countless others are offered spiritual guidance, social support and fellowship in seeking God's light. As a member, you help ensure the continuation of over one hundred vital ministries and programs that help, hope and healing to individuals, families, parishes, and schools.
Levels of giving
The Campanile Society offers four levels of giving designed to reflect your call to charitable giving and your current financial position.
Member Recognition
In recognition of their generosity and commitment, Campanile Society members are acknowledged throughout the year with invitations to special events, including an annual reception and dinner hosted by Archbishop Dolan. The next event is scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the Pfister Hotel.
