Prayers for finding the way.

A significant life event-such as marriage or the birth of a child-often reconnects young adults with the Church. Can the Church reach out to them earlier, when they are on a path of discovery? Emily Kang, Director of Adult Formation and Evangelization at Three Holy Women and Old Saint Mary Parishes in Milwaukee, is helping pave the way to the Catholic Church.

As a leader of the archdiocesan and parish-sponsored "Theology on Tap" series and the 2010 Lenten series "40 Days in the Desert," she welcomes young people to events that are both social and spiritual in nature. "They come looking for truth and for guidance," she observes. "We show that God is reaching out to them in a personal way."
