The parents of John and Patrick Burns rooted them in a close, faith-filled family. But they planted something else in their sons-the seeds for vocations. Today, both are being formed for the priesthood at Saint Francis de Sales Seminary. They're among 36 men at the Seminary, double the number from a decade ago. "We're truly blessed by the high quality of seminarians on fire to serve the Lord," says Fr. Don Hying, seminary rector. Significant support from the Appeal enables the Seminary to continue growing the ranks of priests right in our own archdiocese. |
